Matthew 26:26-29
This is one of the first pieces of calligraphy and illumination that I did. It was for a display of art at our church, and so I chose the scripture that is the basis for communion.
Materials
This was calligraphed on 100% rag card stock using oak gall ink and red ink, with Speedball nibs c-3 and C-5. The illumination was done with pre-prepared gouache and acrylic paints.
